Since the introduction of the Energy ranking in 2021, Aalborg University (AAU) has made significant strides, climbing from the 46th position to 26th globally. This progress places AAU ahead of the Technical University of Denmark and just behind the esteemed Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
